The Patagonia Guidewater Backpack 29L is a fully waterproof and submersible technical backpack designed for fly anglers who need reliable protection for fishing gear, clothing, cameras and personal equipment, even in demanding conditions. The new Guidewater combines an exceptionally durable construction with a comfortable and functional carrying system. The main body is made from rugged 800-denier recycled nylon with a TPU coating, designed to withstand intensive use on the river, long approaches and saltwater environments. Its IPX7 waterproof rating protects the contents even during complete immersion in water up to 1 metre deep for up to 30 minutes. With a 29-litre capacity, the Guidewater provides plenty of room for everything needed for a full day on the water while remaining comfortable and manageable when wading. The ergonomic carrying system features padded shoulder straps, a comfortable back panel and a removable padded waist belt. An integrated landing-net scabbard in the back panel keeps the net securely stored yet easily accessible, while tool attachment points on the shoulder straps keep pliers and other essential accessories close at hand. Additional attachment points allow the pack to be combined with Patagonia accessories such as the Stealth Switch Pack and Stealth Work Station, as well as bottle and rod holders.
