The Rio Avid Sinking Tip has a very homogeneous casting behavior, as the sinking tip does not abruptly transition into the thin running line. Here, the 7.3 meter long sinking tip is first followed by a slightly thicker floating power transmission part and only then the running line. This results in better rolling properties and enables even inexperienced casters to achieve great casting distances.
